Can I directly save all photos from iMessage on my iPhone to my computer?
This is a question which comes up quite often. If just a few people write to us asking how they can save all photos from iMessage, we know that means many more, possibly thousands, have the same question about how to get contact and other pictures from iMessage.
I want to directly save photos in the iMessage on my iPhone to a computer. I know that I can save photos to my iPhone and then transfer all the photos to the computer. It's a little annoying, because I have lots of photos in the iMessage. How can I directly save all photos in my iPhone iMessage to the computer?

How to Save Pictures from iMessage to a Computer
First, let us look at how to save all photos from iMessage to your Windows PC. If you use a Mac, the process is very similar and you should be able to follow this method.

Step 1. Run the program and connect your iPhone
Run the Dr.Fone program. Choose 'Backup & Restore' from Dr.Fone. Connect your iPhone to your computer and it should be recognised automatically.

Step 2. Scan your iPhone for picture from iMessage
Once the software recognizes your iPhone, you will see the following screen shot. To save pictures from iMessage, you can choose 'Messages & Attachments', and then click on the 'Backup' button.
Select the items you want to recover.

Once the backup completes, click View Backup History. Select the backup file and click View.

Part two: Drag and drop your photos.
This method works for a Mac PC.
Step 1. Attach your phone to your computer with a USB cable. There is no need for iTunes so, if it starts to run, close it down.
Step 2. You now need to open the Messages App in OSX and navigate to the message, with the attachment you want to move to your computer.
Step 3. Next open a Finder window. Now navigate to a folder where you want to keep the iMessage photos which are on your iPhone. Create a new folder in a convenient place if you need to.
Step 4. With the 2 windows, iMessage and Finder, open, simply drag and drop the messages from the former to the latter. There you go! What could be easier?
