Instagram will begin the process of building your available data into a downloadable package.
Once the process is completed, you will receive the link via email on your entered email id.
Now all you need to do is to open the email from Instagram and click on “Download Data”.
Note: You will get a message that says this process can take 24 hours. But you will generally receive an email within 2 hours. You have to keep in mind, this link will be valid only for 96 hours or four days. Once the limit is exceeded you will have to carry on the same process again. So go for download as soon as possible.
Step 3: On clicking the “Download data. You will be taken to the Instagram site where you need to sign in and start the download. You will be able to download the package in the zip file. Step 2: Now scroll through the code and find the meta property information. You can do this by “Control +f” or “Command +f” and then search for meta properties. You have to copy the URL that appears in double inverted commas in the line that begins with '<meta property="og:image" content='.
Note: For Google Chrome, you have to click “inspect” for the source image. Then you have to look for the “V” folder under the sources tab.
Step 3: Now you have to paste the link into your browser and hit “Enter”. This will take you to the photo you want to download. Now you have to right-click on the image and select “Save Image As”. The default name will be a long stream of numbers that you can replace with a new and simple name. This way you will be able to save both images or videos.
Method 3: Download photo from Instagram using the third party app
Well, there are many third-party apps that let you download photos and videos easily from Instagram. All you need to do is to copy the link or what we generally called the URL of the image and paste it into the box. Then you have to click on “Download” and the image will be downloaded.
